Peter Bowerman, an Atlanta-based freelance commercial writer, columnist, and business coach, is the author of the 2000 award-winning Book-of-the-Month Club selection, The Well-Fed Writer, its 2005 companion volume, The Well-Fed Writer: Back For Seconds (both self-published, self-promoted, and self-marketed, and which have provided him with a virtually full-time living for over five years). Dr. Leslie Ann Dauphin, a respected scientist and lecturer, is the author of The Germ Handbook (Siloam, 2005), which teaches readers to protect themselves from infectious diseases.  She is also a freelance health columnist and recognized expert,  having articles and interviews published in several notable  magazines.  Dr. Leslie promotes complete wellness of mind, body and spirit.  A sought after public speaker, she frequently conducts seminars and workshops.   Currently, she works as a microbiologist for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.

Carmen Green, a romance writer, began writing in 1994 and sold her her first novel, Now or Never to Kensington.  She has sold more than fourteen books and novellas.  In 1998, her novel, Keeping Secrets made Emerge Magazine's bestsellers list.  In 2001, her novel Commitments was adapted into a BET TV movie, and in 2003, her women's fiction novel Atlanta Live went on to be voted in the top ten for Romance Writers of America's best novels for 2003.  2006 promises to be an exciting year for Carmen with the publication of three new books including:  Indecent Exposure, A Day in Mossy Creek, and What a Fool Believes.

 

Kelli L. McCain, Ed.S. is an experienced educator, trainer and consultant.  She has mentored new teachers, reviewed and selected textbooks for school districts as well as researched current strategies to implement within the school to improve achievement. Currently, she works as an Assistant Principal in Gwinett County Public Schools. Her recent book, Jumpstart to Educational Success, (self-published, 2005), provides parents with simple strategies and activities to help prepare their children to experience academic, social and emotional success in school. Kelli desires to start her own publishing company and continue to offer seminars and workshops for parents.

 

Milam McGraw Propst has had careers as a newspaper reporter and feature writer and also in public relations.  Her book A Flower Blooms on Charlotte Street (Mercer University Press, 2004), won her Georgia Author of the Year, a nomination for the Townsend Prize for fiction, and nationally, it won Parents' Choice Fiction Recommendation.  As well, the book was made into a motion picture, The Adventures of Ociee Nash which premiered at Atlanta's Fox Theater.  She is also the author of It May Not Leave a Scar and Ociee on Her Own (Mercer University Press 2001 and 2003, respectively).  Milam's latest book Creola's Moonbeam  (Bellebooks, 2006), is now available.

Mark  Anthony Thomas is an award winning author, journalist, literary artist, and motivational speaker.
